We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and be proficient in the use of power tools. This role involves working on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. The Joiner will be responsible for fabricating and installing wooden structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. You will also be managing staff and jobs

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise power tools effectively and safely for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation of joinery products. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and electricians, to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct repairs and maintenance on existing structures as needed. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Assist in roofing, plumbing, and painting tasks as required by project specifications.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery or carpentry is essential. Proficiency in using power tools and machinery related to the trade. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions. Knowledge of masonry techniques is an advantage. Familiarity with electrical work related to joinery projects is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
