Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various joinery tasks, including fabrication and installation. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Joiner will be responsible for working on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and must be comfortable using a range of tools and techniques.

Duties

Fabricate and install wooden structures and fixtures, including doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture. Perform masonry work as required, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Carry out painting tasks to finish joinery projects to a high standard. Use power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects efficiently. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations. Engage in heavy lifting as necessary during the installation process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with experience in carpentry. Knowledge of masonry practices is advantageous. Familiarity with electrical installations related to joinery work is beneficial. Ability to plumb accurately for installations requiring precise measurements. Competence in using various power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in varied environments, including roofs when necessary.
