Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire (YO7)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: higher rates available depending on experience

Job Overview

We are a small, growing workshop based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, manufacturing self-build shepherd hut kits, including windows and doors. We are looking for a skilled Joiner / Woodworker to join our team and support all aspects of workshop production.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with joinery and woodworking experience, who enjoys variety and working in a small business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing windows and doors for self-build shepherd hut kits Carrying out general joinery and woodworking tasks Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely Supporting other workshop duties as required Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop
Requirements

Joinery and woodworking experience is essential Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship Reliable, punctual, and practical Experience with workshop machinery preferred
Pay, Overtime & Progression

Starting rate from 12.50 per hour Higher starting rates available depending on experience Overtime available during busy periods, paid at an agreed rate Regular pay reviews with clear opportunities for wage increases as skills and responsibilities grow
