Job Description

Independent Events are an event company based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, we design, build and run every part of our events and with our busiest time of year approaching, we are looking to expand our team to aid the preparations for multiple festive event builds.

Skilled joiner/carpenter - multiskilled trader. IMMIDIATE START.

Location - Our workshop in Wallsend NE28

Driver with own tools essential.

Must be willing to travel and have weekend availability.

Duties:

- Perform a variety of skilled tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair projects

- General duties such as painting and mending (mainly working with wood)

- Assist with the installation of structures

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Skills:

- Proficiency in using hand and power tools

- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods

- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team

We are looking for someone who is able to travel to complete event builds, which often happen overnight and can be on

weekends

.

Must be willing to travel.
