Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role involves working with both hand tools and power tools to ensure high-quality finishes in all projects. The Joiner will be responsible for executing tasks that require precision and attention to detail, contributing to the overall success of our construction projects.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including roofs, doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians and masons, to ensure seamless integration of work. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques with a solid understanding of carpentry principles. Experience with electrical installations is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with masonry work is a plus. Competence in using various hand tools and power tools essential for joinery tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 26.00-30.00 per hour
