Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects that require precision and attention to detail. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling structures, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Perform masonry work as required, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Conduct roofing tasks, including installation and repairs, while adhering to safety regulations. Use hand tools and power tools proficiently for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Carry out painting duties to enhance the appearance of finished products. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and masons, to complete projects efficiently. Undertake heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on-site. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and building codes. Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
