Job Summary

Vincent Jack Bespoke are seeking a skilled, knowledgeable and ambitious individual to join our rapidly expanding team as a technical designer, with plenty of opportunity for progression with the company.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise and detailed technical drawings for a range of bespoke joinery projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of design plans, ensuring that all specifications are met and that the final products align with client expectations.

Duties

Develop accurate technical drawings and specifications for joinery projects using SketchUp. Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed drawings. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients to ensure clarity and accuracy. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all technical documentation. Maintain an organised library of drawings and documentation for easy access by team members. Conduct accurate site surveys as required. Procuring necessary materials for projects. Assist in the preparation of project proposals by providing necessary technical information.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is essential for this role. Previous experience in joinery or carpentry is essential, providing a solid understanding of materials and construction techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. A background in architectural or engineering drawing would be an advantage but is not mandatory. Previous experience of Mozaik and CNC machinery would be beneficial.

PAY NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
