Joinery Designer Position

Cast London is seeking an experienced joinery designer to join its team in London. Cast London is a contractor and bespoke joinery designer and manufacturer.

Cast London was founded in 2018 with a tight knit team of 4 in its office. We are currently offering an amazing opportunity for a full time, permanent position. You will be working in our office on Northcote Road in Clapham, it is a position that is full time in the office.

The is a full-time position with immediate start.

Key Skills:

AutoCAD

SketchUp

Microsoft Office including Excel, Word

Excellent level of written and spoken in English is key

Responsibilities:

You will be working on several projects at one time that can range from only bespoke joinery design to whole construction projects. You will be working closely with the team in the office as well as our site Forman and joiners in our London workshop.

You will be carrying out the following core tasks:

Meeting with clients for bespoke kitchen & joinery design, creating sketches and pricing the items.

Researching new innovative products relevant to projects for joinery design and our other projects.

CAD drawings for detailed joinery design

Carrying out site visits and site surveys to see progress for bespoke joinery

Sketch Up models for bespoke joinery design

Creating quotations for bespoke joinery

Coordinating the procurement of materials and goods for joinery & site construction projects

If you would like to be considered for this position, you must have the following qualities:

Have a modern design outlook, we are looking for someone who is creative with their designs and can create innovative joinery designs for our clients.

Must be creative, passionate and diligent joinery designer with a keen eye for detail and thorough way of working.

Organisation is key for this position

Be technically minded, you must have experience with bathrooms and kitchen design.

Professional communication skills.

Have a good capacity to think on your feet and commercially minded

Formal training in architecture or interior design
