We are a bespoke joinery company based in London, specialising in high end staircases, doors, windows, and architectural bespoke joinery. We work on residential and selected commercial projects, including complex and made-to-measure work.
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking an experienced Joinery Quantity Surveyor with strong, hands on knowledge of bespoke joinery.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing detailed and accurate costings for bespoke joinery projects
Pricing staircases, doors, windows, and custom joinery items
Taking off quantities from architectural and joinery drawings
Costing materials including timber, glass, ironmongery, finishes, labour, and subcontractors
Preparing quotations, budgets, valuations, and final accounts
Managing variations and cost changes throughout the project lifecycle
Liaising with clients, architects, designers, workshop, and site teams
Supporting commercial negotiations and project profitability
Essential Requirements (Must Have)
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the joinery industry
Strong experience specifically in staircases, doors, and windows
Experience with bespoke and made to measure joinery projects
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and joinery details
Solid understanding of manufacturing and installation processes
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable (Advantageous)
Experience within the UK joinery or fit out sector
Knowledge of VAT, CIS, and UK construction contracts
Experience with heritage or high end residential projects
Ability to attend site visits when required
