Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for a variety of projects, including architectural, engineering, and construction plans. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise advanced CAD software and contribute to innovative system designs within a collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Create schematics and technical diagrams for construction and system design projects. Utilise modelling tools including SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds to produce accurate visualisations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to interpret project requirements and produce compliant drawings. Assist in the development of graphic design elements related to project presentations. Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure precision and adherence to project specifications. Maintain organised digital files and documentation for easy retrieval and version control.

Requirements

Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Proficiency in modelling tools including SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds . Strong understanding of schematics, system design, construction processes, and graphic design principles. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in producing precise technical documentation. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. A relevant qualification in architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred but not essential.
