LOCATION: London Broadcasting House - it's shift based role in the NBH newsroom and not hybrid.
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: 28,400 - 38,750 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
JOB PURPOSE
The BBC News live page team produces and runs live new blogs on breaking news and the biggest stories in the world, attracting millions of people to our pages. Our pages are often the most prominent part of the BBC news website. As part of the digital team you'll help to drive the pages by writing and using pictures, videos, and live streams to bring audiences fast, insightful coverage.

The digital team manages and writes a wide variety of live content - anything from global conflicts to music festivals. No two shifts are the same. It's a busy, varied role working in a very prominent team, where sharp succinct writing is valued.
