We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior UI/UX Developer with strong experience in JavaScript frameworks to join our growing team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our flagship Phoenix Platform--a cyber security platform designed to secure industrial control systems.
The ideal candidate has a passion for creating intuitive user experiences, translating business and user requirements into clear wireframes, prototypes, and functional interfaces, and collaborating closely with backend developers to deliver seamless, high-performing products.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior UI/UX developers, designers, and backend engineers to understand user needs and functional requirements.
Translate user stories and requirements into interactive wireframes, mockups, and functional UI components.
Develop high-quality, responsive, and accessible React.js front-end interfaces.
Integrate front-end applications with RESTful API endpoints, ensuring smooth data flow and effective state management.
Maintain design consistency and uphold brand and UI/UX standards across the product.
Identify and address UX challenges through iterative design improvements and usability testing.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure UI functionality, design accuracy, and visual precision.
Implement unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
Requirements:
2 to 4 years of professional experience in front-end or UI/UX development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks or libraries.
Proven experience creating wireframes, mockups, and user flows using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
Hands-on experience in API integration and effective collaboration with backend developers.
Solid understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).
Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an agile, cross-functional environment.
High attention to detail and a passion for clean, user-centred design.
Nice-to-Have:
Deep knowledge of cyber security principles, including DevSecOps practices, and secure software development lifecycle.
Contributions to open-source security tools or projects.
