My client are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior AC Engineer to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in F GAS category 1 and have a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist senior engineers in the installation of new air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties Perform routine maintenance checks on existing AC units to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and troubleshoot common AC problems under the guidance of experienced technicians Conduct basic repairs on air conditioning systems, including replacing filters, cleaning coils, and refilling refrigerants Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance procedures Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling of refrigerants and electrical components Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for repairs and installations Keep up-to-date with the latest AC technologies and industry best practices Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications

Proficiency in F GAS category 1 High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and clean driving record Basic understanding of HVAC principles and systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
