Junior Account Executive

Job Description

Due to a department reorganisation and a period of maternity leave in the team we're on the lookout for a passionate and commercially driven Junior Account Executive to join our dynamic team for a period of 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in managing and growing key customer accounts while driving revenue and market share across the UK retail landscape.

In this role, you'll support our National Account Team with customer data and admin, analyse sales and market trends to shape commercial strategies, and manage selected key accounts. You'll help develop joint business plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in pricing and contract negotiations. Your ability to build strong relationships--internally and externally--will be vital to your success.

We're looking for someone with experience in sales, account management, or customer service, ideally with knowledge of the UK retail market across Multiples and E-Retail. You'll be a confident communicator, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. A growth mindset and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are essential; experience with Microsoft BI is a bonus.

Experience



The successful candidate will have previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service with a demonstrable track record in:

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

An understanding of the UK retail market across Multiples and E-Retail channels.

Some commercial and account management experience.

A growth mindset

Proficiency in Microsoft BI an advantage, PowerPoint and Excel skills.

This role requires the successful candidate to be on site at our Barnoldswick office / Manchester office 3 days per week minimum.

Pay: 30,000.00-32,000.00 per year
