We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the management of retailer accounts, ensuring their needs are met while creating strong relationships. The role will also include and involve business development where the ideal candidate will be calling upon existing and/or new retailers with various product ranges. This position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in B2B sales and account management within a collaborative environment.
We are an industry leading distributor and agent carrying a varying range of product categories of the highest quality that includes hundreds of SKUs from kid's electronics, consumer electronics, retro arcade machines and figurines. Ideally we are looking for a new member of the team who already has experience working amongst one or more of these categories.
Responsibilities
Assist in managing and nurturing retailer relationships to enhance product ranges and grow the business.
Conduct thorough analysis of retailer accounts to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies that align with retailer and company objectives.
Update the management team with account activities, managing leads, and reporting on sales performance weekly.
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues promptly.
Participate in meetings and presentations to provide insights and updates on account status.
Support leadership in executing account plans and achieving overall business goals.
Be sales and target driven- whilst maintaining team spirit.
Qualifications
Proven experience or interest in B2B sales is highly desirable. Particularly in consumer products with UK retailers.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
Demonstrated leadership potential, showcasing initiative and a proactive approach to tasks.
