Job Description
We are seeking a
junior architect or recent architecture graduate
to join us on afreelance, self-employed basis
. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is looking to gain hands-on experience in UK planning processes, especially withChange of Use
andConversions to HMO (House in Multiple Occupation)
.You will work closely with the CEO and collaborate on planning applications and design tasks for small to mid-scale development projects across UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing planning application documents (drawings, statements, layouts) Support concept and technical design development Draft plans for HMO conversions and Change of Use proposals Incorporate feedback from councils and clients into revisions Work with external consultants (planners, surveyors) if needed Maintain awareness of UK planning regulations and permitted development rights
Contract Terms:
Freelance / Self-employed basis Hourly rate - 170/hour Or agreed fee per project Start ASAP
Dragona Design
is a design-focused architectural studio, based in London. We work across residential planning, conversions, and interior projects with a hands-on approach and close collaboration with clients and developers. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic junior architect to join us on a freelance basis to support a variety of planning projects.Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: 150.00-180.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
