Overview


We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be involved in various stages of architectural projects, from conceptual design to construction documentation, contributing to diverse projects across residential, commercial, and public sectors. A strong foundation in architectural software and a keen eye for detail are essential for this position.

Duties



Assist in developing architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Rhinoceros 3D. Prepare detailed drawings, models, and visualisations to communicate design concepts effectively. Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to coordinate project requirements and ensure adherence to client specifications. Conduct site visits and inspections to support project development and monitor construction progress. Engage in client negotiations and presentations, providing technical insights and design solutions. Utilise Grasshopper 3D and 3ds for parametric modelling and complex form generation. Support project management activities, including scheduling, documentation, and compliance with building regulations. Contribute to the selection of materials and joinery details during the design process. Assist in preparing proposals, reports, and presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

Qualifications



Degree in Architecture or a related field recognised by professional bodies. Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, NavisWorks, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch. Experience with construction processes and understanding of joinery techniques. Strong skills in negotiation and client communication. Knowledge of project management principles within architectural practice. Familiarity with CAD standards and building regulations relevant to the UK. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive attitude with a passion for innovative design solutions. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-42,081.60 per year
