Job Description

Operations Services department provides processing support for the front line business units handling trade finance, loan and cash management products. The department also includes the Operations Resilience and Operation Control teams which are responsible for overseeing the Bank's resilience programme and managing user rights for certain systems. The Cash Management team are responsible for the account and payment services for London Branch. As a Junior Assistant - Cash Management, you will be supporting to enhance payment services to corporate customers of the Bank's Corporate Banking department, Financial Institutions department, EMEA and Commodity Business Centre. This is a full time permanent role.

Key responsibilities

Process account opening and be responsible for the account maintenance Process internet banking and SWIFT payments for corporate customers and Non-Bank FI (NBFI) customers Place and roll-over fixed term deposits as per clients' requests and relationship manager's confirmation Maintain accurate diary for all payments and fixed term deposits Respond to internal and external queries by email and telephone Assess and settle bank charges incurred by payments through SWIFT and internal system's transfer Handling bank statements requested by clients Open and manage corporate internet banking accounts and resolve any Internet banking payments queries Assist on any ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements

Degree educated preferably in Finance, Economics or Accounting Experience within the Financial Services industry and proven track record in similar business stream Knowledge of payment and settlement Basic knowledge of banking products Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Team player Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Able to multi-task
