We are seeking a
bilingual (English and Mandarin) Junior / Associate Solicitor
(NQ-3 PQE) to join our growing London practice.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate law
and be comfortable managing documents and transactions involving group reorganisations, share transfers, and M&A work.
Role Description
This is a full-time role located in the City of London (Bank area), with flexibility for hybrid working. You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on
corporate and financing matters
, often involving international clients.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Drafting, reviewing, and amending
articles of association
,
shareholders' agreements
,
share purchase agreements
, and other corporate documentation;
Conducting
legal due diligence
and preparing related reports;
Handling
corporate filings
and supporting
group reorganisation transactions
under English law;
Assisting with
share transfers
,
capital changes
, and
corporate governance matters
;
Managing transaction processes, coordinating with clients, counterparties, and advisors;
Supporting general corporate, banking and finance-related projects under partner supervision;
Ensuring compliance with the
SRA Standards and Regulations
and internal KYC/AML requirements.
Requirements
Essential:
Admitted as a
Solicitor of England and Wales
;
NQ-3 years' PQE
with experience in
corporate law
;
Strong drafting skills and familiarity with
English company law and corporate transactions;
Experience preparing and amending
corporate constitutions, shareholder agreements, SPAs, and reorganisation documents
;
Excellent communication skills in both
English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
;
Sound attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple matters independently;
Awareness of SRA and AML compliance obligations.
Desirable:
Prior experience at an international or cross-border law firm;
Experience working on
LMA-style loan or financing documents
;
Knowledge of or interest in China-related or cross-border corporate work.
Education
LL.B (2:1 or above) and LL.M (Merit or above) from a top 15 UK university, or equivalent qualifications from a leading university overseas;
A focus or specialisation in
corporate or banking & finance law
is preferred.

How many years of post-qualification experience (PQE) do you have in corporate, banking or finance law?
