About the Role





Based in London, the Junior Business Development Analyst will support the Revenue team by assisting with the management and progression of sales opportunities. You will play a key role in identifying new prospects, qualifying leads, coordinating sales activities, and supporting commercial initiatives across the business. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with Marketing, Product, Technology and Services teams to help drive sales pipeline growth and deliver clear value to clients.





The main duties include:


Support the Revenue team in identifying, qualifying and progressing new sales opportunities Research and build target account lists in priority markets and sectors Conduct outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn and telephone Book and coordinate sales meetings, demos and discovery calls Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate pipeline and activity data Prepare sales materials, proposals and presentations Track and report on sales activity, pipeline status and key opportunities Support tender responses, RFPs and due diligence documentation Coordinate internally with Marketing, Product, Technology and Services teams Assist with client onboarding handovers to Client Success and Delivery teams Attend industry events, conferences and networking sessions where required Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients



The ideal candidate




Essential:


Recently graduated or early-career professional with a strong academic background Strong interest in sales, commercial strategy and building client relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders Highly organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working to targets and deadlines Resilient and positive mindset, with the ability to handle objections and rejection professionally Analytical mindset with the ability to understand data, trends and customer needs Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and modern sales tools Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Curious, coachable and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Strong attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism

Desirable:


Degree in business, finance, economics, marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience) Exposure or proficiency in using analytical and CRM tools and software Prior experience of working in a SaaS software company is an advantage but not considered a prerequisite for the role Interest in technology, SaaS or financial services Familiarity with capital markets or risk management is a strong plus
