Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who is committed to pursuing a career in sales/business development in one of the worlds fastest growing industries.

This position offers a unique chance for the right person to learn about the offshore wind industry, whilst training to become a successful business development consultant. No prior experience is necessary, if you are hardworking, self-motivated and interested in learning about a rapidly growing industry this could be the job for you. You will undertake full mentorship and training from experienced colleagues, where you will learn everything you need to know to shape you into a successful Business Development Consultant.

Responsibilities

As a Junior Business Development Consultant your role is to help the business grow by finding and connecting with potential customers. You will learn and develop skills in :

Making outbound calls and sending prospecting emails to potential clients Travel throughout the UK & Europe to attend exhibitions with the Managing Director / Recruitment Sales Manager to generate new leads Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and lead generation Involvement in developing new scopes and services to offer to clients

Requirements

No previous sales experience required - Full training will be provided Strong communication skills, and a positive confident approach Enthusiasm, curiosity and a desire to learn & develop A proactive, self-starter attitude who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment Problem-solving mindset and willingness to try new things
This position is in the head office 5 days per week, not a hybrid position.

The salary is dependant on the individual.
