We are looking for a Junior Buyer, to join team in Burnley !

You will work for a leading supplier of glass and plastic packaging to the personal care, cosmetics, pharma and industrial sectors.

You will play a key role in managing stock levels, placing and expediting purchase orders, supporting the Sales team with quick and accurate information, and maintaining long-standing global supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Manage stock levels using forecasting and back-order processes Raise and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery Complete 3-way invoice matching Prepare delivered costings and internal quotations Maintain strong working relationships with global suppliers Support Sales with customer enquiries Ensure products and suppliers meet all legislation and quality requirements Assist with NPD projects and manage related documentation Organise sample stock for new ranges Provide regular updates and reports to senior management

What We're Looking For

2-3 years' experience in a similar role

or

CIPS qualified Packaging or technical background is an advantage Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent problem-solver with good attention to detail Highly organised, process-driven and able to work autonomously

Mon-Thu:

8:30am - 5:00pm

Fri:

8:30am - 3:00pm
