Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Procurement Assistant / Buyer join our medium-sized main contractor in North-West London, specialising in construction refurbishments, fit-out in London and the wider area.

We are hiring on attitude and willingness to learn and progress within the company into more senior positions in the commercial department as Buyers and Quantity Surveyors over time.

The ideal candidate for this role will however have:

Some experience in the construction industry and an understanding of construction materials, labour, and plant hire. Excellent Computer Skills Good mathematical ability. Can-do attitude and keen to work as part of a growing team.
This will be a permanent, full time role direct with us but may start on a Temp-to-Perm basis depending on experience.

We are currently interviewing on an ongoing basis so start can be ASAP.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: 14.00 per hour

Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:

West London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

UK Construction / Logistics: 1 year (preferred)
Language:

English (preferred)
