Job Summary:



Responsible for supporting the purchasing activities and ensuring the smooth acquisition of goods and services for the company. Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain inventory levels to support the production process. Negotiate pricing, manage order processing efficiently, and expedite any overdue or urgent goods and services.

Responsible for raising all relevant shipping documentation efficiently and forwarding export documentation to freight forwarders to ensure on time and in full delivery to customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Order Processing:?Manage the entire order process from purchase requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Supplier Management:?Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to achieve cost savings and ensure quality. Shipping Coordination:?Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods. Organize relevant export paperwork through BUK broker and additional customer documentation (EAD's/ Barcodes). Inventory Management:?Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Booking customer returnable packaging through relevant customer portal. Reporting:?Generate and analyze reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance. Internal Relationships: Maintain close working relationship with Customer Service & Dispatch for urgent customer needs and issues.

Qualifications Required:



Relevant procurement / logistics qualification, or experience in a similar field.

Experience Required:



Exposure to purchasing and supply chain operations in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to raising shipping documentation. Experience in using ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge/Skills Required:



Balancing stock levels to meet demand without overstocking or understocking. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Vigilance in quality control to ensure procured product meets specifications. Computer literate. Ability to work well in a team environment. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively to support own workload and that of the team.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Hours are from 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Thursday, and from 08:00 to 13:00 on Fridays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
