Junior Capital Markets Operations Analyst




We are looking for a Junior Capital Markets Operations Analyst in our Financial Operations team.


The role sits within our Capital Markets Operations (CMO) team who work alongside our Capital Markets, Finance and Operation teams to onboard Institutional Investors and provide daily management and portfolio reporting across funding facilities.

The role




In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team on day-to-day operations, handling a range of responsibilities that encompass data analysis, transaction monitoring, relationship management, and completing daily client money reconciliations for institutional investors.
This role would suit a numerate and results-oriented individual with a passion for finance and a knack for using data to make informed decisions!Conduct comprehensive transaction monitoring checks Complete daily reconciliations of client money bank accounts (CASS rules) and lead month-end reconciliations Prepare daily and monthly investor reporting, summarising loan portfolio data, cash flows, and trends Log and address investor queries, demonstrating exceptional communication and customer service Identify and flag risks to client money reconciliations and propose mitigation actions Support new investor onboarding and amendments by tracking project tasks Assist in supporting investor due diligence and audit requirements Produce and maintain up-to-date procedure documents and transaction summaries Utilise analytical skills to identify and analyse data anomalies Apply proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, functions, and data analysis techniques Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day

What we're looking for

Experience in a finance-related role or newly qualified with equivalent combination of education and know-how Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, functions, data analysis) or experience with SQL/Tableau Ability to interpret data sets, identify trends or errors, and apply analytical insights Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong work ethic Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, passionate about continuous improvement Ability to work with integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
