Junior Cataloguer

Ross's is a Belfast city centre firm of Auctioneers & Valuers which holds monthly jewellery, art and antique auctions shipping to clients throughout the world.

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic graduate to join our flourishing jewellery department which is experiencing high demand and rapid growth.

This is a client facing and administrative role. Training will be provided.

The role includes cataloguing the jewellery featured in our monthly jewellery auctions,merchandising, jewellery viewings as well as liaising with clients and colleagues to provide excellent client service.

The successful applicant will have the potential to gain insight and experience in all aspects of a busy auction department.

No previous jewellery experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Precise management and organisation of our extensive monthly jewellery catalogue. Writing accurate and interesting descriptions for our jewellery catalogue. Meeting key cataloguing deadlines each month. Managing and updating our many private and trade vendors. Assisting in merchandising our showroom and creating beautiful jewellery displays each month. Engaging with customers during jewellery viewings and driving aftersales. Contributing to our social media channels.

Essential Criteria:

Excellent time management skills are required in this fast-paced environment. We will require a candidate who can work efficiently and prioritise their workload. Excellent organisation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A willingness to learn and support colleagues in the jewellery department and across other areas of the business. Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team or independently when required. Excellent computer skills. A full UK driving licence.
Please note this position will be on site in Belfast city centre from Monday - Friday between the hours of 9.00am until 5.15pm.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
