Job Description
I'm partnered with a large private organisation who are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to join their team based near Manchester.
This role offers fantastic opportunity for a bright and committed individual to carve their own progression opportunities.
Ideally, they are looking for a candidate with strong academic background with demonstrated consistency. You may have experience working within a similar role.
Key responsibilities within this role would be as follows:
- Supporting the Commercial Finance Manager
- Monthly reporting
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Commercial analysis, trend identification and pricing analysis
- Assessment of performance & variance analysis
- Minimum 2:1 within a numeric based degree - Maths, Finance, Economics, Physics
- Ability to explain complex information concisely
- Ability to manipulate large data sets within Excel to identify variances and discrepancies.
- Good understanding of financial processes and driving through process improvements.
- Displays excellent analytical skills & attention to detail.
- A strong desire to attain a professional Finance qualification e.g. CIMA/ACCA
- 33 days holiday
- CIMA/ACCA study support - increase in base salary with exam progression
