Commercial Property Lawyer
to join our team in Didsbury, Manchester.
About You
We're looking for a confident and experienced property professional who can manage their own caseload and support others within the team.
Requirements:
Minimum
1 -2 years PQE
as a Solicitor
Strong experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing transactions including:
Acquisitions and disposals
Landlord and tenant
Commercial and residential development
Finance and debt restructuring
Construction
Property tax
The Role
You will play a key role in our commercial team, managing varied transactions from start to finish and providing support to junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a full caseload of commercial property matters from instruction to post-completion.
Deal with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, equity release.
Review titles, draft contracts, raise and respond to enquiries, and manage completions.
Conduct property searches and check legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
Liaise effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
Prepare and submit Land Registry applications and associated documents.
Ensure all transactions meet legal and regulatory standards.
Keep abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing best practices.
Supervise and provide training to conveyancing assistants and junior team members.
Support business development by building strong local client relationships and cross-referring work where appropriate.
Additional Responsibilities
Provide cover for other office locations when required.
Maintain professional and courteous relationships with all colleagues and clients.
Adhere to firm-wide policies, procedures, and departmental performance standards.
Demonstrate high standards of legal knowledge, case management, and client service.
