The Opportunity

As a Junior Community Manager you will own the responsibility of managing and executing marketing strategies on our Discord, Reddit and Telegram communities -- fostering engagement, sharing updates, and supporting users to ensure a positive experience. You'll organize events, drive discussions, and collaborate with internal teams to align community efforts with company goals, all while staying current on trends in poker, crypto and iGaming.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively manage and moderate our Discord (and side Discord projects), Reddit and Telegram channels to ensure a positive, informative, and engaging environment. Foster a strong sense of community among members by initiating discussions, responding to inquiries, and providing updates on company news, events, and product releases. Develop and share engaging content related to poker, cryptocurrency and CoinPoker's projects. This includes announcements, educational content, and event promotions. Assist community members with questions and issues, acting as the primary point of contact for our Discord, Reddit and Telegram communities Coordinate with moderator team to oversee discussions, enforce community guidelines and manage reports of inappropriate behavior Assist in planning and developing growth and engagement strategies for Discord, Reddit and Telegram Lead the execution of the growth and engagement strategies previously mentioned Collect community feedback and sentiment regarding announcements, updates, and the overall state of CoinPoker, and deliver structured reports. Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to align community efforts with broader company goals. Organize and promote community events such as AMAs, giveaways, and contests to keep the community engaged. Keep up with the latest trends in poker and cryptocurrency, ensuring the community stays informed about relevant industry developments

Highly Desired Knowledge and Experience:

Proven experience in the poker space, with a strong understanding of poker mechanics, history and trends. A passion for poker, with experience in or a deep understanding of how poker players think. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner. Previous experience managing or moderating online communities, especially on Discord, Reddit and Telegram Ability to handle difficult situations and resolve conflicts within the community with professionalism and tact. Comfortable using Discord, Reddit and Telegram, social media platforms, and other digital tools to manage and engage with the community. A self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a global community that may require occasional off-hours engagement. High daily online activity, with the ability to stay consistently present and responsive across community channels to effectively moderate discussions and address issues in real time.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the poker space, including how the industry operates and awareness of current trends. While in-depth poker strategy knowledge is not required, it is considered a plus. Equally important is hands-on experience with Discord, Reddit, and Telegram, with a deep understanding of each platform's audience, what drives engagement, and what fuels growth. The candidate should also know how to leverage the available tools on each platform to execute campaigns effectively and maximize community impact.
