This is what you'll be doing
As a Junior Consultant, you'll learn how to deliver impactful work from day one. Some of your key day-to-day activities will include:
Supporting stakeholder engagement and helping ensure the right voices are heard
Preparing for and contributing to client workshops where problems are explored and solutions take shape
Carrying out analysis and turning it into clear, well-structured outputs
Assisting in drafting options appraisals that help clients make confident decisions
Supporting the creation of commercial tools, models, and artefacts that add real value
Contributing to briefings and advice, learning how to balance support with challenge

The skills you'll need to succeed in this role
A strong academic background (minimum 2:1 or equivalent preferred)
A keen interest in public sector procurement and how government spends effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
A collaborative mindset and desire to continuously learn
Some experience through internships, placements, or part-time work in procurement, commercial, or data-driven roles would be an advantage, but not essential.

Our assessment process for this role will involve two steps:
Step 1:
Your CV will be assessed against the requirements for the role. Make sure you have drawn upon your relevant experience, skills and knowledge within your CV.
Step 2:
Attend an Assessment Day at our Bristol office on Queen Charlotte Street, where you will deliver a short presentation, take part in a group exercise, and have the opportunity to meet members of our team.
