Summary


Broadcast.co is home to industry-leading brands: Cue Podcasts, MatchMaker.fm, Podcast.co, and Radio.co. We're looking for a technically-minded Junior Content Executive to help us grow.

As part of the content team, you'll be a key player in creating engaging content that attracts new users, educates existing ones, and drives product adoption across our distinct brands. You're a natural writer and a tech enthusiast, skilled at breaking down complex topics into clear, persuasive content. You'll work with the content team to produce assets that click with our target audiences and achieve our business goals.

Boiled down, you'll produce high-quality, persuasive content that drives user acquisition, educates our audiences, and supports our growth.

Reporting

: Head of Marketing.

Location

: Manchester, UK hybrid, working in the office when needed.

Salary

: 25,000 - 28,000 per annum (dependent on experience*).

Contract

: Full-time, permanent.

Hours

: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Content Creation

: Produce persuasive content that drives action.

Technical Know-How

: Get hands-on with software, surfacing insights for users.

Optimisation

: Improve content for search engines, LLMs, and various platforms.

Tone Shift

: Adapt writing style to suit our brands' unique voices and audiences.

Proactiveness

: Identify gaps, suggest ideas, and improve workflows.

Responsibilities


Take ownership of content creation, finding effective ways to reach and onboard users.

Plan

:

Research relevant topics and keywords for fresh content ideas. Work with the content team on priorities and the content calendar. Outline and structure articles, guides, and copy for impact and clarity.

Execute

:

Create compelling short and long-form content across platforms. Write concise, engaging copy for web, CRMs, and social media. Produce detailed guides, tutorials, and feature breakdowns for our brands. Use modern tools, including AI, to improve writing, structure, and efficiency. Optimise content for SEO and AEO (LLM) to maximise reach. Proofread and edit for grammar, style, and accuracy.

Report

:

Track content performance with metrics and tools. Identify content improvement opportunities from data and user feedback. Share insights and content ideas with the team.

Requirements


Working across several brands, you'll need a systematic and disciplined approach.

Passionate about technology and the creator economy, with a desire to learn. Proactive and curious - you simplify complex topics, boiling them down for others. Excellent written skills. You communicate persuasively and adapt to audiences. Hands-on with core content toolkits like a CMS, CRM, and social platforms. A pragmatic work ethic, preferring to get things done and take initiative. Organised, timely, and methodical thinker, you're always in the loop. Background in content creation, with an emphasis on technical skills.

Location


The role is open to anyone UK-based. However, being a commutable distance from Manchester city centre for office days would be beneficial. The office is easily accessible from both Manchester Victoria (5 min walk) and Piccadilly (15 min walk) stations.
