The Role

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in writing control software and executing design and commissioning tasks for PLC-based control systems. They should be proficient in working with HMI platforms, safety systems, inverters, and industrial communication networks. In addition to technical expertise, the candidate will provide support to the Electrical and Commissioning Department by ensuring efficient administration, regulatory compliance, and organised technical documentation. They will uphold safety standards and contribute to the integration of AI technologies to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Possess recognised electrical qualifications relevant to the role. (18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate (C&G 2382/20) or equivalent) Demonstrate knowledge of control panels and design safety systems. Modifying electrical diagrams, using CAD software PLC Programming HMI Programming Inverter Programming Editing PLC and HMI Perform electrical installation and commissioning work at Haith Factory and external sites, including potential overnight stays. Plan and manage capacity, priorities, and project timelines effectively. Handle breakdowns and coordinate with customers. Drive continuous improvement initiatives at the Haith site, focusing on energy efficiency and safety. Participate actively in production meetings. Complete relevant training and online courses as required. Interpret and understand panel drawings proficiently. Hold a current full UK driving licence. Have the legal right to work in the UK.
