As a
Junior Cyber Security Analyst
within our Technical Services team, you'll have the opportunity to work on different applications and develop your skills in technical and non-technical aspects of cyber security. More specifically, you will:
Help monitor and assess system vulnerabilities and security events
Assist with network security audits and risk assessments
Use your programming knowledge to identify and help adapt code with colleagues
Contribute to incident response and threat analysis
Participate in security training sessions and help develop internal policies
Engage in learning to stay current with emerging cyber security threats and practices.
Develop in house tooling for various systems and departments
Experience / Requirements
You will hold a degree in Cyber Security (BSc Hons) or a relevant degree in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering with modules in Cyber Security. We welcome applications from graduates and will consider experience gained through education, work, hobbies, or training. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
To succeed in this role, you will need a:
Strong understanding of hardware, systems, and secure network architecture
Familiarity with risk management practices and secure systems design
Exposure to programming languages such as Java, C, and Python
Awareness of common security vulnerabilities and attack vectors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage your time well and work independently and in teams.
