One of your projects at Datitude could involve connecting a client's retail system to the Datitude Platform, enabling them to analyze and visualize trading data tailored to their needs. You will extract data from various sources, such as e-commerce websites or databases, and transform it into Datitude's internal data models. Your role will also include testing, deploying solutions, and ensuring data integrity through monitoring checks.
We seek candidates who are:
Curious, analytical, and eager to learn new technologies
Comfortable working with data, logic, and patterns
Clear communicators with a collaborative approach
Proficient in SQL, including writing and optimising queries and stored
procedures
Familiar with AWS Redshift and PostgreSQL or similar OLAP and OLTP
databases
Experienced with Python, especially for AWS Lambda development
Have an awareness of event-driven architectures, e.g., AWS EventBridge
Able to work full-time onsite at HP7, Amersham, South Buckinghamshire
Our tech stack at Datitude is based on AWS, utilizing tools like Lambda, Step Functions, and Redshift. You will work with SQL, Python, and Amazon States Language for Step Functions, with a DevOps mindset, as a valuable asset.
Candidates who have experience in the following are of particular interest:
AWS services
AWS Step Functions or similar state machine-based orchestration tools
Git or other version control tools
DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
Data modelling and ETL/ELT pipelines
A general understanding of data governance and data quality
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
