What you'll do
As Junior Product Manager in the Infrastructure Delivery Digital & Data team, you will support the development and management of data products that enable smarter, more efficient capital project delivery across the electricity transmission network. This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is passionate about using data to drive operational excellence and support the UK's transition to a net zero energy system.
About You
Support the Data Product Manager in managing the lifecycle of data products, including discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Infrastructure Delivery, Data, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and understand user needs.
Assist in writing user stories, maintaining product backlogs, and prioritising features based on business value and user impact.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Conduct user research and data analysis to inform product decisions and measure outcomes.
Help coordinate testing, feedback loops, and continuous improvement activities.
Contribute to product documentation, training materials, and stakeholder communications.
Promote data-driven decision-making and support the adoption of data products across the business.
Desired Skills and Attributes
Passion for data products and their role in transforming driving value.
Curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
A good understanding of product management principles and data lifecycle concepts.
Awareness of the challenges and opportunities in large-scale capital delivery or infrastructure projects.
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI) or data analysis techniques is a plus.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, or metadata management is advantageous.
