At Grillo Living we are increasing our team and looking for energetic and proactive individuals to join us!

Following our launch at the Chelsea Flower Show in 2018, we have been designing, building and installing outdoor kitchens all over the UK. We listened. What people wanted were outdoor kitchens that suited the British outdoors. Beautiful in design, yet simple in construction.

About the Role

We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused Design Consultant to help customers plan and purchase outdoor kitchens. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, understands how to guide buying decisions, and can confidently turn ideas into finished projects. You'll combine design insight with consultative selling to deliver solutions customers are excited to invest in.

What You'll Do

Engage with customers and uncover their needs, lifestyle, space, and budget Guide customers through the outdoor kitchen planning process, from concept to purchase Recommend products, layouts, and upgrades that enhance functionality and value Educate customers on materials, finishes, and performance for outdoor use Build trust and relationships that lead to confident buying decisions Prepare quotes and close sales Deliver a high level of customer service before, during, and after the sale

What We're Looking For

Experience in sales, consulting, or customer-facing roles (home improvement, kitchens, outdoor living, or related industries preferred) Strong communication and persuasion skills Ability to balance customer needs with business goals Confidence discussing pricing, upgrades, and timelines Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple customers at once

Nice to Have

Background in kitchens, cabinetry, appliances, or outdoor living products Experience in commission-based or goal-driven sales environments
