Overview

As a Junior Graphic Designer & Social Creative at Target you will be helping to ideate, design/animate and create social-first content for our key clients' paid media channels campaigns.

The role is perfect for a creatively-minded design graduate ready to take the next step in their career.

In this role you will be working with the organic social and paid media teams to, design social-first content for Meta & TikTok Ads. As well as ideating and designing content using Adobe Suite programmes such as Photoshop, After Effects & InDesign.

Responsibilities of the role

Using Adobe Suite programmes such as Photoshop, Illustrator & AffectEffects or similar to design world class content. Creative engaging organic and paid social content that feels innovative and on-brand, but most importantly drives conversions Ideating paid ads and organic content for a multitude of DTC brands with clever creative and scroll stopping hooks Supporting the creative team to plan, shoot and edit content that brings brands to life on socials and drives a direct response (i.e. purchase) Liaising with influencers to help edit together content. Be forthcoming with new ideas and experiment with new content and technologies to ensure that our clients remain at the forefront of the eCommerce and social-sphere. Driving standards by ensuring spelling, grammar and tone of voice and creative standards are upheld (e.g. on-brand, aesthetic, attention to detail) - ensuring that we're proud of everything that we put our name to. Proactively communicating with brands and stakeholders to take and propose new briefs for ad content each month. Managing social channels via a scheduling software when necessary

Must have

An understanding of social channels and the formats used for each platform Experience in Adobe Suite Ability to collaborate with other designers/motion experts and wider social team Experience in creating social-first content. Eagle-eyed attention to detail Ability to work to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds An willingness to support the social team in posting content and community management during busy periods would be a bonus Excitement and optimism about how AI can potentially streamline repetitive tasks and improve output and efficiency (e.g. audience research; creating content variants/iterations; converting stills to video; rendering products vectors etc)
