Job Description
We are recruiting for a
Junior Designer/Architectural Assistant PART 1 / Technician to join our growing Planning and Design team based in Exeter, as part of our wider Professional Services department spanning the South West.
Our work covers a wide range of projects, with a specialisation in small to medium developments and bespoke residential projects in rural areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and gain valuable project experience in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work supporting colleagues but also have a desire to take responsibility for their allocated workload as appropriate. The right candidate will have a desire to grow their professional skills helping to develop 2D drawings and 3D models and have their own means of transport.
Responsibilities include; working under direction from more experienced colleagues, contributing to team design discussions, assisting with on-site surveys and the preparation of survey drawings and developing design schemes using AutoCAD. It would be advantageous but not essential to have experience using SketchUp modelling software and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop for 3D visual presentation purposes.
Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
