We're now seeking a
Junior Digital Administrator
to join our Communications and Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in digital content management, web administration, and data analysis.
Role Overview
The
Junior Digital Administrator
will play a key role in maintaining and developing the Institute's digital presence. You'll manage updates to our website, support digital campaigns, and help monitor online performance to ensure an excellent experience for our members and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day updates to the Security Institute's website using the content management system (CMS).
Upload and format articles, news updates, event pages, and other digital content.
Review and proof web pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
Monitor and report on website analytics using tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms.
Support SEO improvements and ensure pages are optimised for search and usability.
Assist with digital communications such as newsletters, event promotions, and social media integration.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely publication of content and consistent branding.
Support ongoing website development projects and troubleshoot minor technical issues (with support from external developers where needed).
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Basic experience using a website CMS (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or similar).
Good understanding of website structure, user experience (UX), and content accessibility.
Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, GA4).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when editing and publishing content.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
Competence with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace tools.
Desirable:
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing fundamentals.
Experience with graphic or media tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, or similar).
Interest in or understanding of the security industry.
