About the Role



We are looking for a highly motivated individual eager to accelerate their career in smart home electronics and home automation. This role is ideal for someone passionate about home automation, HVAC controls, and engineering, looking for hands-on experience in a small, dynamic company with room for growth.

This is a junior-level position suited for someone with a strong interest in electronics, communications, and technical support. The successful candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and committed to growing with our business.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide 2nd line technical support for customers and internal teams. Manage product returns, including physical testing, repairs, and documentation. Assist with internal IT support and troubleshooting. Support new software and hardware testing, including debugging and reporting. Maintain training equipment, test equipment, and documentation. Assist in technical training sessions and equipment setup. Follow and update technical documentation and reports. Conduct goods-in inspection of electronic equipment. Work alongside the production team and contractors to support operations. Assist in production tasks, including basic mechanical assembly. Operate and assist with laser machine tasks, such as engraving or cutting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Basic understanding of electrical wiring systems and electronic hardware. Hands-on wiring skills, including familiarity with RS485 wiring. Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, TCP/IP). Basic knowledge of Ethernet and networking concepts. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams. Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. A logical, detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities. A passion for technology, motivation, and commitment to learning.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):



Knowledge of telecommunications. Soldering skills and experience with PCB repairs. Familiarity with 3D CAD or ECAD design software. Experience with mechanical assembly. Experience using a laser machine for engraving or fabrication.
