The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Junior Events Assistant to support our expanding event operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a career in high-end event management with a market-leading Cotswolds company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of our events, from meticulous pre-event planning to flawless on-the-day delivery.
Your day-to-day activities will be varied and fast-paced, offering immense opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Assistance: Confidently assist large-scale events alongside the Event Manager, helping to coordinate staff and ensure the highest standards of service are delivered.
Setup Oversight: Oversee and manage large-scale setup days at venues, ensuring everything is prepared to the Ross and Ross standard before the event begins.
On-Site Management: Oversee and manage small-scale events such as intimate dinner parties and family gatherings.
Operational Logistics: Oversee the packing and unpacking of all equipment to ensure efficiency and readiness for operations at remote event locations.
Office Administration: Key point of contact in the lead-up to events, checking paperwork, timelines, and table plans are accurate and complete. Manage post-event communications, including liaising on damage deposits and record-keeping of events.

The Ideal Candidate:
Is exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
Is a proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet in a fast-paced environment.
Has a full, clean UK driving licence and their own transport (mileage expenses paid).
Is willing to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, as required by the event schedule. Has a broad range of IT skills including shared Outlook inboxes and calendars and have the necessary organisational skills to maintain the highest standards of record-keeping.
Previous experience in events, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is highly desirable, but a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn are most important as full training will be given.
