As Finance Administrator you will be working alongside our Finance Controller to ensure accounts are reconciled, accounts payable and receivable and maintained, debt recovery and general bookkeeping.
Person Specification
You must have excellent communication skills and ideally have previous experience working with accounting packages, though this is not essential as training will be given. You must be well organised, detail oriented and able to work independently.
You must be adaptable and flexible and work well in a busy environment.
Successful candidates are subject to DBS and credit checks.

Supporting accounts payable/receivable.
Updating account information and records of clients
Monitor and maintain credit limits.
Chase overdue invoices via telephone, email, and letter within agreed timescales.
General Administrative tasks.
Job Specifications
We are based in Knaresborough very close to the town centre which is where you will be working. The hours are flexible, due to this being a new role it has the potential to grow with the successful applicant, however as present we require a 15 to 20 hours a week, must be able to either start at 8am or finish at 5pm though hours can be discussed at interview.
It is initially for a 3-month contract with the potential to extend.
Compensation and Benefits
The basic annual salary is 25,396.80 pro rata, based on a 40hour week. You can opt into the pension and will be able to take 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays).
