Due to growth in the team, we have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Finance Assistant to provide support within Prodrive, ensuring compliance within all finance policies, reporting deadlines and financial support to the month-end process. This role would be ideal for someone looking to develop their career within finance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer the AP function, including supplier setup, to ensure all invoices are matched with PO\'s and entered on IFS in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, including maintenance of instalment schedules, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare weekly and urgent payment requests ensuring timely payments.
  • Maintain the out of pocket and credit card expense process in line with company policy, ensuring validity and authorisation.
  • Assist with month end creditor reconciliations highlighting any issues.
  • Regularly review and manage open PO\'s and GRNI.
  • Manage the intercompany cross charge process in a timely manner.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to finance and the wider business.
Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of financial processes and a minimum of one year\'s experience in a finance or office environment. You will have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to converse with all levels of staff. The ability or experience of using a fully integrated accounting system and a commitment to achieve an accounting qualification would be advantageous.
