Your Career Plan

Step One - Paraplanner

0 - 6 months - Junior Protection Advisor 25K (30k OTE)

Step Two - Trainee Protection Advisor

6 - 18 months - Trainee Protection Advisor 26K (up to 35k OTE)

Step Three - Senior Protection Advisor

24 months - Senior Protection Advisor - 28K (up to 50K OTE)

Process

The first step in your career path will be as a Paraplanner. You will be the first point of contact, dealing with inbound leads of potential clients who are interested in advice on protection products. Your role as a paraplanner would be to educate our potential clients on our processes and complete a fact find relating to the clients' financial and medical circumstances. You will build rapport with clients, by educating them throughout your conversations, understanding their needs and requirements, and tailoring your responses accordingly. You will use the knowledge you have gained from our extensive training programme to assist our senior protection advisors with the information they need to give sound advice.

After approx. 6 months in the paraplanner role, providing pre-set targets are hit and you have mastered the basics, you will then have an opportunity to be considered to develop into a Trainee senior protection advisor. During your time in this role, you will be given extensive training on all protection products and be expected to retain this information whilst beginning to take on new and exciting responsibilities. These responsibilities will be introduced to you gradually, alongside your training, so that you feel confident and supported at every stage of your development process.

After 12 months as a Trainee senior protection advisor, you will then have the opportunity to become a qualified Protection Advisor. Again, this will give you the opportunity to gain more knowledge and confidence as you move into the role of a fully advised protection agent.

Our senior protection advisors speak to potential clients to really understand their needs and advise on which products best meet their specific needs and requirements. They also follow up on outstanding quotes and manage the on-boarding process. This is a fast-paced role dealing with both individual and team targets.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference to people's lives, offering comprehensive and award-winning protection products from the whole of the insurance market.
