Junior Gas Service And Breakdown Engineer
Job Description
Service, maintenance and repair of Gas heating systems and the completion of routine safety checks.Troubleshooting, identifying and providing a right first-time solution to all heating system issues.
ACS Certificate required to enable registration under gas safe. OFTEC qualification not essential but progression opportunity available.
Ideal junior role for someone who has recently passed ACS and looking for longevity in a growing and supportive business
Experience in heating and service engineering and/or installations.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service out of hours calls. (Standby rate plus time&half
Knowledge of heating system installation, repair and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in occupied residential and social housing.
Management of own van stocks in line with daily usage.
Provide excellent customer service building upon existing strong relationships with clients.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid full clean UK driving license.
Flexible approach to working hours and working location. 42.5 hours standard with overtime available and oncall allowance rota
Additional Key Duties
Ensure the professional image and quality standards of the company are always maintained. Personal presentation and appearance. Van presentation, health checks and general upkeep.
