About the Role In your role as Junior Graphic Designer you will be required to carry out the following:

  • Work under the direction of the Studio Manager Liaise with the Studio Manager, Specialists departments and the Marketing team to develop creative design ideas

Key Responsibilities and Responsibilities
  • Produce precise and accurate marketing assets, both digital and print.
  • Page creation for catalogues with and without the guidance of paste-ups, conforming to the Brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple projects with the ability to prioritise workflow.
  • Follow instructions given by senior designers.
  • Assess colour proofs with specialist departments.
  • Colour correcting images using ADOBE CS packages
  • Correcting and altering pages layout as required
  • Preparing files to send to print.
  • Scanning and loading images onto the auction system.
  • Uploading finished artwork to various FTP sites.
  • Good file management Keeping an accurate record of any additional tasks.


Key Skills and Attributes
  • Good knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite software, with particular expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
  • Experience in a professional, creative and fast-paced studio environment
  • Experience working on OSX operating systems
  • Excellent creative and technical art working skills, catalogue page layout and production skills, a strong understanding of brand guidelines and experience in working with and without pre-designed templates and creating quick and accurate digital proofs
  • Good communication skills with the ability to put forward creative designs in clear and professional manner
  • A good understanding of colour management
  • Full understanding of print production and the formulation of print-ready artworks for press.
  • Create print ready PDF files for print production, correctly profiled for relevant media/publications and able to create page turning catalogues for website
  • The ability to work on multiple projects at one time, under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A good working knowledge is required for image clipping paths and shadow work as well as colour correction
  • An acute eye for detail, strong organisational skills and great efficiency Possible future HTML marketing applications, after sufficient internal training on systems
