Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer Apprentice to support our marketing and communications teams with digital content creation. The ideal candidate will have foundational skills in imaging software and a keen eye for design, developed through formal IT training. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in graphic design and digital media.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit digital graphics and visual content using imaging software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).

Support marketing and communications teams by producing images for social media, websites, email campaigns, and print materials.

Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all digital assets.

Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions.

Organize and manage digital files and assets for easy access and reuse.

Apply internet safety best practices when handling digital content.

Contribute ideas to design concepts and help improve visual content quality.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Level 2 Certificate in IT or equivalent, including:

Basic proficiency in imaging software (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar).

Strong attention to detail and a good sense of visual aesthetics.

Ability to work under guidance and meet deadlines.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Awareness of internet safety and digital content security.

Desirable Attributes:

Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and trends.

Familiarity with other digital media tools or video editing software is a plus.

Portfolio of sample designs or projects (if available).
