University of Bristol Students' Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a healthcare assistant (HCA) to work 2 days (14 hours) per week (Monday and Tuesday).
We are a close and friendly primary care practice team that includes GPs, nurses, healthcare assistants, pharmacists, psychologists and other allied professionals at an award winning university health service. Situated within a purpose built practice in a beautiful setting.
We would encourage a visit to the practice to meet the team prior to application.
Salary range- 24,685 (13.56 per hour) to 26,093 (14.34 per hour) based on 35 hours per week.
What will you be doing?

As an HCA you will support the work of the clinical staff and have responsibility for a range of clinical and administrative duties, e.g. phlebotomy (taking blood), taking observations, urinalysis, acting as a chaperone for coil clinics, ordering medical supplies, and stocking up clinical rooms.

You are a highly motivated, enthusiastic, Health Care Assistant, who holds a recognised phlebotomy qualification, ideally with experience in a Primary Care setting, and with a special interest in the health of young people.
