Role: Junior Helpdesk Engineer
Salary: 324,310
Location: Kings Hill/Hybrid
Are you a motivated, passionate individual looking to take the next step in your career? Cantium, part of Commercial Services Group, is now looking for a Junior Helpdesk Engineer to join the team, providing support and taking ownership of all Helpdesk duties across the group.

What Youll Achieve:

• Provide expert technical support, ensuring that all helpdesk duties are handled effectively and efficiently, in line with Cantiums KPIs and service level targets.
• Respond to support requests via multiple channels, including inbound calls, live chat, emails, and in-person interactions, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents and requests, documenting all steps taken towards resolution.
• Stay current with trends in the information technology industry to provide the best possible support and recommendations.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with service providers, including external commercial suppliers, to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced IT problems, applying known solutions where applicable and sharing this knowledge with colleagues to improve team performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to support the companys overall goals, ensuring alignment with Cantiums business objectives.
• Contribute to the protection of company data and information, ensuring compliance with security protocols and preventing unauthorised access.
• Support new team members through inductions and knowledge-sharing activities, keeping knowledge articles up to date and creating new resources when necessary.

What We Require:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues, as well as providing advice on systems, products, and services.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Familiarity with IT service management tools, incident management, and ticketing systems.
