Junior Import & Purchasing Planner

Site-based role, Leeds

The Role
As part of the purchasing team, you will be responsible for managing the complete European supplier cycle for your sector. Your duties will include.
- Purchasing materials from your EU suppliers and managing the OTIF delivery to 3PL warehouses.
- Manage the import documentation (bit of export) along with order processing, stock management & raising PO\'s
- Booking transport for imports to 3PL\'s and look for cost savings.
- Liaising with internal departments such as warehousing, customer service & sales
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be a team player. You will also need.
- Experience of import documentation, customs declarations, commodity codes etc\xe2\x80\xa6
- Ability to analyse data
- Excellent supplier management skills
- Tech savvy with high understanding of Microsoft suite inc Excel
